The most likely reason is that your "confidence level" (on your settings screen) is not set to 100%. Changing this to 70%, for example will instantly change all your sales results on all your reports to 70% of what your assumptions would otherwise predict. This is designed so you can play "what if" games easily without having to change every assumption.
