Cash at Beginning

Help with This Page

This is the screen where you tell Offtoa how much cash your company has in the bank at the beginning of the modeling period. The only reason we need to know this is so we can enter the right number for cash at the beginning of the balance sheet and cash flow statement.

In most cases, your entry should be zero.

If you are planning a company that you have not yet founded, then your entry on this page should be zero.

If you are planning a company that you recently founded, and selected a first fiscal year to model/analyze under General Assumptions that began prior to the date that you founded the company, then your entry on this page should be zero.

In some cases, your entry should be higher.

If you selected a first fiscal year to model/analyze under General Assumptions that began after the date that you founded the company, then your entry on this page should be the balance in the company's bank statement as of the date shown (i.e., the day before the start of the first fiscal year being modeled/analyzed).
