This is the area of Offtoa where you can state all your business assumptions about how your company is going to spend money to make money. It includes assumptions about:

  • Raw materials (and cost of goods sold) you need to buy to make (or resell) products to customers.
  • Employees you need to hire.
  • Commissions you need to pay.
  • All the other expenses needed to run your company (rent, legal fees, office supplies, and so on).
  • Major purchases (furniture, computers, and so on).


In all these cases, you may have to make your best guesses. As you progress and learn more, replace these guesses with more and more accurate numbers.
